ChatGPT will be able to respond by voice, analyze images
With the update that will be available for Android and iOS applications starting next week, ChatGPT Plus users will be offered a number of advantages. Chief among these is that users will be able to participate in ChatGPT’s voice conversations.
According to the company’s statement, the artificial intelligence will be able to respond to users with one of five different artificial voices. In addition, ChatGPT will gain the ability to analyze and discuss images shared by users. On the other hand, it will be able to ask users questions about specific areas in the images.
New features for image processing and audio bring the biggest update to ChatGPT since its launch. With these features, AI will be able to incorporate different types of data into conversations and generate different responses.
However, some security concerns have been raised about the use of artificial voices. OpenAI stated that the voices are created with the consent of their real owners. But there are questions about how user input will be used.
The new voice and video features will be available from October. In the first phase, it will only be available to subscribers who sign up for ChatGPT Plus for $20 per month. It will also be available on iOS and Android.
